I was very generously invited to stay with Christos Polymenakos (co-founder of Veramand Studio) in his apartment in Nikosia, as part of a Performance Writing Residency in September 2011.

I installed the wire writing ‘there flies’ to draw the reader’s attention to all that flies around this tree: insects, seagulls, aeroplanes. A robin had been watching me install the writing. I stepped back to take a picture, and he flew into the frame (bottom right hand branch).
